The only part I watch are the first couple of episodes when all of the freaks and crap singers get on TV.
The rest is terrible.

here is the obvious beauty of that show. Simon says hooooow talented every contestant is, gets the buzz going they all put out CDs he owns the rights to all of it and regardless how shitty they are he makes money...gotta love capitalism

*sigh* At least Canadians don't really pay attention to Canadian Idol, so we might have a chance of maybe having the votes CLOSE to the Canadian PM elections.

Kelly Clarkson's first two albums both went platinum. Grammy winner

Simon Cowel does not own the rights to any of the idols recordings.

You can vote as many times as you want on American idol. You can only do that in a presidential election if you are a democrat living in a big democrat controlled city like Chicago or Milwaukee.
