Giddy with the success of "Iron Man" over the weekend, Marvel Entertainment released its first quarter report to shareholders today and confirmed the next four titles they're putting into production.
First up will be "Iron Man 2" which has been scheduled for April 30th 2010.
Matthew Vaughn's take on "Thor" is also set for release on June 4th 2010.
"The First Avenger: Captain America" will swing his shield on May 6th 2011.
The much anticipated superhero team-up "The Avengers" has been scheduled for July 2011.
The company's "Ant-Man" and "The Sub-Mariner" remain in development with no fixed release dates. Their "Wolverine" film remains on course for next May.
who the hell is going to play thor and captain america?? haha, maybe captain american can join up with team america.
The fact that Iron Man made a little over $100 million opening weekend will cause for these movies to push forward.

moviemagic.
i say: Viggo Mortenson for Thor?
Aaron Eckhardt or Ryan Gosling for Cap?
it depends if they go for the young enlisted guy (origin story) or modern, i've been frozen for half-my-life Cap.
who do they think will go to it?
iron man was good- loved the effects. was reading the recent edition of empire and i saw a critic saying he wanted to see a battle between iron man and hulk

Thor, Captain America, Avengers, Ant-Man, and The Sub-Mariner will ll be absolutely godawful shit.
Wolverine will disappoint the majority of moviegoers, although it won't be bad in and of itself.
Iron Man 2 will be even worse than the original, which is hard to do.

they are likely to cast some smaller names for Cap and Thor, since they already have Norton as the Hulk and RDJ as Iron Man. If they were to make an Avengers movie, they would need a HUGE budget to pay all the big name actors.i say: Viggo Mortenson for Thor?
Aaron Eckhardt or Ryan Gosling for Cap?
it depends if they go for the young enlisted guy (origin story) or modern, i've been frozen for half-my-life Cap.
Not to mention they'll need 2 actors to play Thor. One for when he's Thor, and the other for when he's the elderly doctor Thor is when he's NOT holding Mjolnir. I vote for Ian Mckellen!
