Birdman
Space Ghost
Hawkman
Thor
Sub-Mariner

I liked most of it except for the ending fight scene. It's amazing how Bridges just knows how to use everything automatically.

yeah, that was the weakest part of the movie.

saw it saturday...ya I enjoyed it. Definitely in comparison to most other comic films, this one was well paced, funny, looked great. I was actually stunned at how well it was pulled off. The robot arms of his really stole the show for me tho. I was kind of hoping they would save the "armour wars" type plot for the sequal, but it worked real well as a motivating factor for the character.

ya, I liked it. Might even seen it again in the near future.

all in all, I watched it, but I got nothing from it. It was a mini army commercial and a way for Americans to kill "bad terrorists" again. Yippy, ... lets wave a few American flags and say the pledge of allegiance now. I'll stick with my Batman, Spiderman and X-men movies.

"a mini army commercial"? are u for real?

and is killing terrorists a bad thing?

ur obviously someone who has sacrificed nothing for the freedoms u enjoy.

I quite liked the movie. I also loled at the Tom Morello cameo. I didn't really lol at the Peter Billingsly cameo because it wasn't funny...And the Jon Favreau cameo was just dumb.
Overall the movie wasn't as *spectacular* as I wanted it to be--I blame the trailer for that. It really left nothing to the imagination. I sorta love Robert Downey Jr too. I'm AAALLLLLmost over Terrence Howard being in every single movie for the past year or so.

okay, i remember billingsly from "a christmas story" but don't know morello. where were they in the movie?

could u be a little less vague? what "cause" are u referring to?

and it just so happens i spent a year in afghanistan, the same warzone that "iron man" was set in. in fact, i spent 5 months at Bagram Air Field, which also made a "cameo".

I can't believe I made the mistake after the credits and confused Samuel L. Jackson with Lawrence Fishburne.

And when I see Jeff Bridges I only think Big Lebowski .. so I was surprised to say the least.

Morello was one of the Iraqi guys who came in to check on Stark right after he and the guy were finishing the Iron Man suit. They came in and Morello basically had this "Shiiit" look on his face, then he got tossed up on this wall.
Billingsly was the scientist that Jeff Bridges hired to build a lookalike suit. They made him bald in the movie which I thought was weird. He was the guy who said that the technology to create the suit didn't exist.

they should've thrown a red rider bb gun into the shot. i might've recognized him then.

incidently, i really liked the movie. don't know anything about the actual comic books, but i thought it was very good. wouldn't even mind seeing it again at the theater. i didn't really have a problem w/ any of the actors, although jeff bridges didn't really seem to do very much. he wasn't very animated (for lack of a better word) in the way that typical comic book villains are. he was just sorta' there.

I'll agree.
But if he's more animated, people will complain that it's too childish and too outrageous for a movie.
And now that he's more realistic and mature, he's not animated enough to be comic book villain-esque.

I'm not calling you an asshole .. just sayin.
