I went up north yesterday, flew into manchester, flew back this morning, it was quite nice actually, pleasant people and quite quaint lil villages, but boy is it cold up there, it was sunny, but still cold, I love the heat down here.

manchester is rubbish. the best bit is the airport on your way out.

god the airport was awful, for a major airport its tiny and nothing there.

i didn't know it was a major airport. the impression you get from manchester folk and leeds folk is that their cities are the centre of the earth. they are nothing of the sort.

hate it. it looks nice as you drive in but then when you meet the locals.

edinburgh is a city i very much like in the summer on the odd occasion that it is hot. the cuntryside is nice too.

bristol is a great summer town too.

I love Leeds... Great nights out.. Manc is good for clubbing too... I'm off to Edinburgh next week (hate the accents) Bristol accents sound like farmers

well that was a throughly enjoyable summer. 4 days of beautiful weather and BBQ's. roll on summer 2009!
