You didn't predict shit, you picked one person out of 2 possible choices, getting it right doesn't make you a wizard.
And I seriously doubt Edwards is being considered as a VP by anyone, they may offer him a cabinet position though.

Hasn't he already endorsed McCain?

why was the reverend wright non-issue such a big issue? eye dee gee eye.
It was and is most certainly an issue. This whole race thing is teetering on the edge for Obama. No matter what, he will get 90% plus of the black vote, and he has also been popular among whites. His trouble will be if enough white voters get scared off by his association with someone like Jeremiah Wright. White voters will not vote for someone who thinks like wright does. If Wright goes away and hides under a rock until after the election, much of the damage will subside. If he continues to make a spectacle of himself like he did a week ago all over the national media, Obama will be in trouble. I'm sure Obama's advisers have spoken to wright a time or two in the last week. It remains to be seen whether he can be controlled or not.
If another Jeremiah Wright type scandal pops up, then you will see the white flight from his supporters. He can't afford another one and he can't win without white voters.

Obama should ask John McCain to be his running mate, that would solve the whole election issue...If you really want to imagine something trippy. Senator Lieberman is rumored to be considering endorsing McCain. Think about that would would mess up the dynamics.
It wouldn't, Liberman is hated by every democrat out there... he's basically a Republican anytime a party line vote comes around, and he loves McCain on a gaymarriage level, so it wouldn't be a surprise in any way.

ok...it shouldn't be an issue and anyone who thinks it should be should have their right to vote taken off them because they are dumbs and mentally retarded.

Oh, I disagree. Obama's 20 year close association with a man like Jeremiah Wright is an issue that he needed to address. In his last speech on it when he repudiated Wright and everything he stood for, he did address it. What if a white candidate had been a member of a church for 20 years led by a racist white pastor? That would also be a valid issue for the voters.
Obama is blazing a new path here as the first mainstream black candidate who actually has a chance at winning the presidency. He has positioned himself as being above the race issue, which is what he must do to win. Jesse Jackson was a candidate for President once, but all he got was the black vote because his entire career has been spent as a professional racist encouraging racial tension. Obama is far different and he can't let himself get lumped in with the likes of Jackson or Wright.
seriously who the fuck cares? dumbasses, that's who. dumbasses who, unfortunately, have a vote.

who cares? are we to assume that obama i guilty by association?seriously who the fuck cares? dumbasses, that's who. dumbasses who, unfortunately, have a vote.
Guilty? no. Suspect? Of course. If you saw someone hanging around with the druggies in high school, did you maybe suspect that they may be one too? People are always known by the company they keep. Obama's association with Wright put that suspicion in peoples minds about Obama. His speeches explaining it have done much to ease those suspicions, but they are still out there ready to be reignited if any new evidence should emerge.

I think if there were any new evidence, it would have emerged already.
Lets face it, attacks from both clinton and mccain are weak, they cant really come up with anything that would actually bring him down, and considering both of them want the power, they would have done it already if they could... its not like they cant afford it or dont have the resources.
quote:
What would the benefit to McCain would it be for the republicans to let any new evidence out about Obama? They want him to be the democrat nominee.
Groovy.
Now discount clinton.
Because she secretly doesnt want to be president? and all the money shes spent on this, is just pocket change?
Either way you cut it, at least ONE of the nominees want him down and out and unable to take the presidency.
And they havent found anything. If there was something, it would have been found, and exposed, and taken advantage of.
