In an obvious shout-out to the hardcore comic book fans, CBM has learned that the indestructible disc of Captain America can be seen in Tony Stark's lab!

Captain America’s trademark red, white and blue shield appears near the 1 hr 30 min mark in the film at the point where Pepper Potts comes in on Tony trying to get out of his damaged armor. The line you want to watch out for is, ”Let’s face it, this is not the worst thing you’ve caught me doing.”

I just saw it on Saturday night. I loved it. The acting was over all very good in it. I can see the earlier points about howard being wrong, but really thats a small issue.

Was it the best of the comic book movies?.... probably not, but it was a damn good one.

With Marvel doing their own movies now I am really looking forward to more.

I don't know much about Iron Man and I thought the movie was awesome, I also have a friend who was into Iron Man until they retooled him in the comics into a pussy and he though the movie was awesome. It was proof that hollywood can do a decent comic book movie keeping true to its origins and not fuck it up.

A little slow for me to begin with... but once it picked up the pace, I enjoyed it
would of liked a little longer for the action scenes, with some good tunes in the bakground, but really not too shabby!
Personally. I thought Downey Jr. played an awesome part!

i havent seen it yet...but casting downey jr as a boozing, womanizing millionaire is bad casting?? its perfect casting. as for him being too wimpy...most of the superheros without any special powers appear wimpy on the outside...its part of their cover anyway.

i liked the movie- didnt know too much about the origional comic but i liked the movie regardless. I hvaent been so much of a fan of alot of the movies(spiderman etc) so this was refreshing.

i heard that they have commissioned 3 movies with RDJ and GeoffB- i hope they arent flogging a dead horse here- dont know enough about his other villians etc
