Why exactly would he be scared of Obama? There isn't a poll out there that shows Obama as the stronger general election candidate.

because if hillary is nominated republicans and some dems will come out in droves to vote against her. im a republican and im seriously considering voting for obama.

after obama gets the nomination, then you will see the head to head polls change to obama and by quite a bit i would guess. right now u still have dumbasses out there who think hillary still has a shot trying to make obama the weaker candidate. one of the few people liked less then bush, is hillary. obama doesnt have to worry about that. hes well liked.

give me a break, you're basing this on data being gathered while clinton is still in the race. i'm not going to get started with this right now. i say to thee, wait a month or two, when we have a straight up dual. then we'll see what the data reflects. who's doing better with independents anyway?

So you won't debate polling while it's a 3 person race when it disagrees with you, but you'll toss polling out to support yourself when it does?

Cute.

Um Nick it isn't like these polls are asking between Clinton, Obama, and McCain which one would you pick. These are polls based on head to head match ups.

while theres a split dem party. youre a moron if you dont think things are going to change in a big way in obama's favor. (so i suspect thats what you do think).

listen to your party friend bammbamm, he's managed to tune into reality.

As you may recall, that was based on the representatives of MI or FL being seated, which will change the regular delegate map substantially.

I actually think Hillary is tougher to beat in the long run as well, but that mostly has to do with her being fully vetted in the public eye at this point. There's been a curious amount of distance being set up in the statehouse here of late. I figure Obama has a scandal or two left in his closet.

no it wasnt, and its a stupid premise to begin with, not only because the rules are the rules (which she agreed to - hence the outcome), but that he didnt campaign in either state, and wasnt even ON THE BALLOT in michigan. should we give her michigan? give me a break. on the same token, she still couldnt win. of course, that was my position, not yours. and here we are.

haha, a scandal left in his closet? you say that as though he's had a "scandal" already. wright is not a scandal. only jagoff necks and racists view it that way. not that im suggesting anything. no, not about you, mo.

yes, for a while most polls showed her doing better against mccain. now he is doing better, update your polls. they both beat him in head to head polls, but obama does it more handily.

again, none of the immediate polling really means too much. its only going to get better for obama. i have to think, with as bad as clinton wanted to win, theyd have found any scandal and destroyed his chances long ago. if not them, assholes like hannity or someone else that too many of you spend time listening to would have.

theres just no way, with all this exposure, that repub dickheads are holding onto something, keeping it secret. not with the net and all the exposure out there. most everything that matters is out on the table. and theres alll the time in the world for people to stop jabbering on and on about the pseudo issues that have already come up.

people are going to care about the economy, the dollar, gas, iraq, the environment etc. not wright, not flagpins, not any other made up issue. these are all obama territory.

did anyone acknowledge my question about independents?

Actually I meant Rezko, which isn't done yet by a long shot. Of course your view that I'm an ignorant redneck is long documented, and I'm fine with it :) I've been quite content with being called a redneck for years now. We can't all be stereotypically unhappy emobois after all.

Call it what you will..the Jeremiah Wright thing hurt Obama's campaign. Obama cannot afford to be seen as being anything like Wright or hold any of his racist anti american nutcase views. The fact that he sat and listened to this man preach for 20 years put some doubt in peoples minds that was not there before Wright's views became known.

Look at the demographics of the primary results BW and AW. Obama won in overwhelmingly white states like Iowa and Wisconsin...those were BW. Race was not an issue. He hasn't won the white vote like that in a state since. Wright made race an issue in the campaign where it had not been before. You have to wonder what Wrights motivation really is. Why did he stab a longtime friend in the back like he did? What is in it for him?

You already know my answer to that question. I will vote for the best candidate who is on my ballot in November. That will not be McCain or Hillary for sure.
