a few points:giggs was a liability. he gave the ball away more than gerrard in a bad game.
lionel messi should not be playing football. i don't understand why he isn't banned.
benitez has no excuse not to win. for a team that only concentrates on the champions league, they will have egg on their faces if they finish 4th with nothing after spending like an arab in a brothel.
the riise goal is gonna be tough to overcome. chelsea play as boring as us.
The guy writes a monologue, about his theory on the current status of the globalisation of European football, and all you come up with is "well the something should pay them more money". That something is not even mentioned. Nor is who is paying more.
Not even considering the economics behind the European clubs, or their respective tax structure.
But yeah "they should pay them more", is good enough I guess.

dude you are seriously retarded
quote:
real madrid can buy any players they want and so can barcelona but that's part of the problem, i reckon. like buying david beckham. real never made such a big hit off one player as they did with beckham in terms of merchandise etc. the spanish clubs forgot about the football and that's why they suck dick at the moment.
german clubs are complete shit now. they really do not stand a chance in europe. italian teams are okay with talent but boring as fuck and nobody really likes them cept italians. spanish clubs would rather look good than win. then you have all the marginal countries like france, portugal, scotland where the clubs do not have the media coverage or money to keep their top players who seem to always end up in england.

at least the champions league final has some credibility back now.
you take it a a given that he will play at least the first half with all the wrong tactics. then he'll sort it out and after that he'll fuck up the substitutions. lol at him.
it's important that avram grant gets not credit for the win though. clearly he does nothing. it's all about steve clark.
i figured the riise goal would be the difference but it was nice to see some goals.
who woulda thought this matchup would produce 7 goals and man u barca would produce 1 goal
cech is a horrible gk.
at least he concedes they were lucky

Really? Thats funny, because as I recall it was two goals to the near post of one particular goalkeeper.
One fundamental rule in goalkeeping is, always cover your near post.
Or are you too pissed off to talk about it?
quote:
i suppose not, not even if you only concentrate on one competition every year and buy £20 million strikers.
4th place and CL semi's isn't a bad year, honestly.
theres hundreds of clubs who would love to do that.
and we're not the first club to spend $20m on a player.
we just have a shit manager... nothin i can do about that
