Since then we have expanded many features and it now has all the features you would come to expect at many pay dating sites, all for free! We invite you to come in, search for other members from your area, or members with common interests and message them. Its a great way to meet new people. You can earn valuable RMB points by sending traffic to the link shown on your "MYACCOUNT" page. When you send traffic to this URL, your account is credited with points. The person with the most points each month will receive a FREE RMB T-Shirt in the mail. You can send people to this link by posting it on your personal web pages, as well as posting it to all your IM Buddies!

You are likely having problems receiving your IM's because of a popup blocker installed on your computer. It's possible the popup blocker is an internal setting on your web browser. Are you hearing a clicking sound every page view? This is a sure sign its your popup blocker blocking the window from appearing. There are many popup blockers out there and some of the more popular ones come integrated on your internet explorer toolbar. To name a few - Google toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar, and MSN toolbar can all block popups. For each toolbar you must click options and go into settings where you can uncheck the option to use the popup blocker. There are literally dozens of different software applications and each one has a different way of turning it off. Depending on the program you dont have to turn the application off completely, for some software you may just add "ratemybody.com" to the safe list of sites. Please note that you can also view your IM History, which actually shows you what IM's you are missing. It's not the greatest solution, but it will at least let you know while you are attempting to fix your popup blocker. You can also opt to have your messages skip the popup stage and have them directly transferred to your mailbox, this option is found here in the bottom right corner. All the info you need should be here, if your still having problems feel free to contact us.

Sometimes you may experience problems with certain parts of the site such as sending IM's or voting due to your computers privacy settings being too tight, this is normally in the form of an internet firewall. If your privacy control is turned on, it is set to block the "Referer" which is basically the page you were on before you visited the page you're currently on. RMB uses this information for the sole purpose of making sure you came from a page on RMB rather than a page on another site when trying to access certain features. No data about where you were before is ever seen or collected by RMB. NIS, can easily be configured for proper use with RMB by making a small adjustment in the advanced settings. To access the advanced settings, open NIS, click on the "Options" button and choose "Internet Security". On the "General Tab", click the "Advanced Options" button at the bottom of the dialog window. This will bring up a window similiar to the one shown below. Use the following steps to configure NIS to work properly with RMB. If "www.ratemybody.com" is not already listed in the list of websites on the left, click the add button and add it. Once "www.ratemybody.com" is added, it will appear in the list of sites. Select it by clicking on it in the list. Choose "Privacy" from the tabs on the right. Make sure you have checked the box next to "Use these rules for www.ratemybody.com. Both the Cookies and Referer options should be set to "Permit" as shown in the window below. Click "Apply" to save the settings.

The "New" Icon is displayed on the top charts if the account is less than 7 days old.

The "Pics" Icon is displayed if the user has any additional thumbnail photos. If they do have additional photos, it is represented with an icon of the amount of extra photos they have.

The "Zeo" Icon is displayed if the user has created a "ZeoFlick" and posted it on their profile. Zeoflicks are easy to make flash movies you can put into your RMB account, for more information look under zeoflicks under "MyAccount".

The "Salute" Icon is displayed if the user has saluted. A salute is credited when the user has taken a clear picture of themselves with their RMB username as well as RMB or RateMyBody.com in the photo. The username and sitename must appear in the actual photo (on paper, written on body, etc) and not added in with image editing software.

The Newest Members Chart works similar to the Top Girls/Guys Charts. The only difference is that you do not need a minimum number of votes to be on this chart.

The Most Rated Chart works similar to the Top Girls/Guys Charts. The only difference is that it is sorted by total number of votes received.

If you want to randomly rate members, by either guys or girls, or both click this page. This page randomly brings up members to vote, once you vote a new member will be brought up. Anybody, whether a member or not, can vote from this page.

The Member of the Month is a randomly chosen member that is picked by either admins, or voted on by members to represent the site for the current month.

The Featured Member is a randomly chosen member that is picked by the software that runs RateMyBody.com. This updates every 12 hours.

We developed speakers corner as on opportunity for members to have articles on a range of subjects published. If you have a good article you think would be suiting to the site please email it to us and we might just use it. All articles must be spell checked and use proper sentences. We will not make any adjustments to your articles for you.

In this section on the front page we communicate currents news and updates regarding the site. We update this as soon as there is something new to let our viewers know.

We highly recommend subscribing to the RateMyBody Newsletter. We will not spam your email, nor will we ever provide email addresses to anyone, period. We simply send out monthly (at most) emails containing special RateMyBody news, hilarious emails we receive, and exclusive RMB stuff you wont find anywhere else!

With our mail system you can contact any member you choose to. Simply click the link to "Send Mail" and type your message and click send. The mail will be recieved when the user checks their mail by clicking the "Mailbox" link. Messages are kept in the system for 30 days before they are permanently deleted, unless they are deleted earlier by the user. Instant Messages that are not checked in time are moved into the mailbox.

Our Instant Message system is a great way to instantly communicate with other members. When you send another member an Instant Message it will pop up on the other users screen, provided they are online. If they not are online they will be stored in the system for 24 hours. If after 24 hrs they are still not checked, they will be moved to the "MailBox" with the subject line "Expired IM". If you have more than 1 Instant Messages waiting they will pop up 2 at a time in the order they were sent until all are checked.

By clicking the Who's Online page you can see all the members currently actively logged in and surfing the website. The first page you look at on the Who's Online page shows the last 20 people that have logged in to the website. This is updated every 5 minutes, so if you dont see yourself dont panic. We just show the last 20 to give everybody some featured exposure. At the bottom there are links to sort the Who's Online by each letter of the alphabet.

The Online / Offline indicators

The Search feature provided on RateMyBody can help you find the exact type of people you wish to talk to or look at. You can easily search for members from your area. This can be a very helpful tool in finding people to chat with.

To visit RMB chat, click the chat link and wait for the new window to popup. Click "ok" on the box that asks for your permission, and then enter your RMB name and click connect. Any problems related to using the chat can be directed to rmbchat@hotmail.com, you can also add this address to your MSN Messenger for live help.

When you click "+HotList" while looking at a members profile they are added to added to your "HotList". Your HotList is your own personal and private list of members you wish to keep in it. When users are in your HotList you can instantly find out if they are online, or have the option to Instant Message them or send mail. All you need to do is click "MyHotList" on the navigation bar and a small popup window will appear that you can leave open while browsing the site.

When you click "+Meet ME" while looking at a members profile they are added to added to your "Match List". Your Match List is your own personal and private list of members you wish to meet. This list is completely confidential and you are only notified when a "double match" is made. This means when a person that you have clicked "Meet me" on clicks "Meet Me" on your profile a double match is made!.

This link is provided so you can easily access your profile. From your profile you can check your rating, view your friends, and make sure all your info is up to date.

You can now create photo galleries of your favourite RateMyBody photos. When looking at a profile you like just click "+fav pics" and you will be able to select the photos you want to appear on your list. If a user deletes a photo, it will be deleted off your list as well. We don't currently support ordering your lists.

Our message forums are a very large part of the site that often go unnoticed. We have a wide selection of different forums to post a range of topics from goofing around to serious debate. Please follow the forum guidelines when posting, we have moderators for each forum that provide assistance for members when help is needed, as well as enforce the forum regulations.

When you post messages in the forums a thumbnail of your main profile pic is posted next to you message. Many people like to change their associated thumbnail around, so we have provided an option to do so. If you wish to change your forum pic simply go to "Edit Account Info" found from the "MyAccount" page. There is an dropdown box to change your forum pic at the bottom left hand side.

If you wish to change any of your personal details simply click this button located on the "MyAccount" page.

Your image needs to be less than 100k. Most images should already be that small, but if yours isn't then you can use any graphics editing program to reduce the size of the image. This can be done easily over the web. Just go to any of the following websites to assist you in optimizing your photo.

In order to upload a photo to RateMyBody.com it must be in either JPG or BMP format. It also must be under 100 kilobytes. (100,000 bytes) Most photos will already fit this criteria. If it is not, we recommend going to the following links to obtain software to either convert it to the proper format, or reduce its size.

Odds are your image is already in one of these formats. If it is great! If not you can easily convert your image to one of these formats. To convert your image, a graphics program will be necessary such as (MS Paint shipped free with Windows 95, 98, NT, and 2000). If you don't have a graphics program available, you can get one for free, Jpeg Converter for a Windows platform, or Drop Image for a Mac.

You can upload an additional photo called a salute if it meets the following criteria: A salute is credited when the user has taken a clear picture of themselves with their RMB username as well as RMB or RateMyBody.com in the photo. The username and sitename must appear in the actual photo (on paper, written on body, etc) and not added in with image editing software. This means you must be holding an appropriate sign on a piece of paper in real life and take a photo specifically for this purpose.

If you wish to either change your main pic, or modify your additional pics click the appropriate button found on the "MyAccount" page. When you upload a new photo it has to be reviewed by one of our staff before it is approved to be on your profile. Check the photo guidelines to make sure it acceptable. When you re-upload a main photo your profile will show text -(Photo Awaiting Re-Approval) instead of the main photo, until it is re-approved. When you upload an additional photo it will appear blank on the profile page until it is approved. Photo approvals are usually done twice daily, however we recommend allowing up to 36 hours in extreme cases. Sometimes after you have upload a photo it may appear that the same photo is still being displayed. This is caused by your web browser caching the photo. Your web browswer thinks the photo has not changed and is just displaying the same image to speed things up. We recommend holding down the "CTRL" key while pressing "F5". If this does not work for you right away just be patient, your browser will eventually pick up the updated photo, and most other people are probably already seeing the updated photo.

If you wish to make changes to your Friends List, HotList, or Blocklist; this is were you do it from. Your friends list is what appears publicly on your profile. Your Hotlist is private and show's you who is online and provides quick access to Instant Message people on the list. Your Blocklist is also private and all people on this list will not be able to send you Instant Messages. This is an essential tool to stop people who you dont want to talk to from contacting you. Currently you can store a maximum of 50 people in each list.

You can view the history of your Instant Messages, both sent and recieved from this page. When you first arrive at the page it will show the Instant Messages you have recieved. There will also be a link to view what you have sent, as well as an option to permanently delete the history. If you click this link, all IM's will be cleared, except those that have not been checked yet. The Instant Message History purges all IM's that are older than 24 hours daily.

From this page you have the option to either delete or approve comments that have been left for you. You can also view all your comments, and their current status.

If you have a ZeoFlick you wish to add to your profile simply cut and paste it into the textbox provided on this page, and click Update ZeoFlick. You can also delete your ZeoFlick by clicking Delete if you wish. Your ZeoFlick must go through the validation process just like all other pics. ZeoFlicks are usually approved twice daily. We see alot of people paste the wrong code in, you must paste the whole code provided by ZeoCast, including the SCRIPT tags.

If you wish to change any of of your responses to the questions that appear on your profile, simply change the responses in the textboxes and click Update Questions.

Only members of the website can vote for users from their profile page. If you are not a member you can randomly rate people from the "Rate Bodies" page. You can vote on as many photo's as you like, but only once per photo. Occasionally we might clear the voting table which would allow you to vote re-vote on members. Despite all the rumours, 10's do not lower your score.

If you want to reset your votes simply go to this page, enter your password and hit Reset. Your votes will be reset and you will be put back in the rating pool.

If you wish to leave to permanently delete your account from RateMyBody, you can do so by entering your password and hitting Delete Account. Once you do this your account will be marked for deletion. Once you do this you can no longer logon, and this action can not be undone. It takes 24-48 hours for your account to be officially removed.
